Site-specific creation
Lassina Koné, Laura Cardona, Laura Llodrà i Álex Fuster / From 7pm / Jaciment Son Fornés / Montuïri

This project is born from the meeting between artists with very different trajectories and languages who share the same desire: to create a piece inseparable from the place that hosts it. The archaeological site of Son Fornés becomes a space for research and listening, where the bodies dialogue with the memory of the territory and with the stories that still inhabit its stones.

The proposal relates the practices of contemporary dance, improvisation and in situ creation with the artistic experience developed by Lassina Koné and the Don Sen Folo platform in Mali, based on community work and the transformation of public spaces into meeting places. This intercultural perspective is combined with the personal research of Laura Cardona, Laura Llodrà and Alejandro Fuster, artists who work from the relationship between body, identity, education and territory.

The result is an open stage action, created specifically for the festival, that invites the audience to explore the landscape from a new perspective and discover the connections that can be established between heritage, community and contemporary creation.
