Foc i Lloc
La Súbita / From 7pm / Jaciment Son Fornés / Montuïri

Inspired by the traditional dry stone technique, Foc i lloc constructs a reflection on the way people inhabit the territory and construct their identity. The stones, extracted from the earth and transformed into architecture, become a metaphor for the bonds that sustain a community.

Through a dance solo for public space, the piece explores the desire to take root, the need to find a place of one’s own and the processes of change that accompany any displacement. The body dialogues with objects and the landscape, turning the construction and transformation of a shelter into a scenic action.

The proposal establishes a bridge between heritage, memory and contemporary creation, inviting the public to look at the territory as a living space, shaped by the people who inhabit it and by the stories that have left their mark on it.
